It's no mystery that I love the crossover pairing between Jack Frost and Anna. But a lot of people ask me why and so, here goes.

The two just work for me. I relate strongly to Anna. I have that weird and awkward personality, well...under all that shy awkwardness. But once you get to know me, I'm literally Anna and by saying that, Jack has always been the type of person I fancy. I just have a thing for funny and sweet guys. With that in mind, JackAnna mirrors my views on a relationship. Most of what I ship does.
Anyway, both Jack and Anna are the kind of people who've been left in the dark. Everyone overlooks them and both try to get some much needed attention. Plus, neither of them knew why they had to be left in the dark. All they knew was that they were alone or at least felt alone. For Jack, he's been alone for three hundred years and tries to make a mark, but his deeds go unnoticed. Example, when he creates a snow day for Burgess, Jamie in particular, Tooth is the one the children get excited about after Jamie looses his tooth and so the attention is shifted away from Jack and towards Tooth. For Anna, while we don't see if her parents attended to her as a child, we know she desperately wants to reconnect with her sister and is then neglected by the one person who matters to her. She reaches out to Elsa countless times, but does not get anywhere. We do know Elsa is trying to protect her, but it still doesn't excuse her for neglecting her sister. And don't blame their parents, Elsa could've easily helped find an alternative and simply learned to control her powers instead of hide them.
Elsa's powers are an argument for another time. Back JackAnna.
As I was saying, if the two were to meet, they would be able to connect, give each other the comfort and company they've needed and yearned for.

Then there's the whole self sacrificing thing. Both were willing to put their lives on the line for others, particularly their sisters. Both died and in the end were rewarded by being brought back to life. And I swear, if you say Elsa thawed Anna, I'll give you a frozen heart. All Elsa did was mourn her frozen sister, but I suppose love is a two way deal, but Anna was the one who initiated the act of true love that saved herself. Elsa just cursed her. ...ahh...we're talking about JackAnna. Stay on topic, Brix!

Giving their personalities, they have enough in common, being adventurous, selfless and fun, they'd certainly get along and I can see them going out on so many adventures. I also feel they could bring out each other's mature side. Maybe Jack takes a joke too far and so Anna calls him out on it or Anna is doing some crazy stunt and makes Jack a complete worry wart, worried she might hurt herself. They also know when it's snowball and fun times or when it's time to be serious. I noticed that once things got bad, that's when they get really determined, but of course their fun personality comes in time to time, so they don't forget who they are.

And Anna seems to be the kind of person who would believe in Jack. She's so open minded and gives off that "I believe in the impossible" vibe. She probably met Jack as a child and never stopped believing in him.

By judging from their relationships between characters in their respective films, Anna seems to like the kind of guy who will notice her and accept her for who she is and while hans was feigning his relationship with Anna, she fell in love with a fun, caring side of him. As for Jack. I always saw he had something with Tooth and to me, I saw it romantically. Tooth is a wild, out there kind of girl with also a soft, nurturing side. That is much similar to how Anna is and so, I saw the potential of the ship.

I even believe Anna would be the one who'll be saving Jack more than he does her. Okay, that's a headcanon that one of my roleplay partners and I established, seeing how one of our current JackAnna roleplays are going.

Even the fandom is great. While JackAnna is a small shipping fandom compared to other ships, all the fellow JackAnna shippers I've come across are the sweetest people ever and I'm thankful to be apart of such a fandom. The only time I've seen JackAnna shippers be rude is when someone comes onto us to disrespect our ship. I swear, we hardly ever pick fights. Actually, we don't period. We come off as sweet, but the second we see "JackAnna is a no", all that sweet sweetness goes away. Despite all that, we defend our ship with a strong level of maturity. We mostly get hate from Jelsa shippers and a lot of the hate from them is invalid arguments. Yeah, yeah a lot of Jelsa shippers hate on everybody and their ships. We still stand strong and we even fight together.
All the times I've gotten hate from Jelsa shippers, my fellow JackAnna shippers have got my back and remain respectful about it too. So being in a fandom with that much level of respect of maturity, even if the person doesn't deserve it, makes me so proud to be apart of it.

And this is why I ship JackAnna. I ship it because I see how it works and I love being apart of such a positive, respectful community...FAMILY.
